Autumn dusk
When the day is short, the light is low and the air begins to change,
the pathway home is still the same. . . and beauty still answers to its name.
Light and shadow are usually the elements I work with. When I set out to walk at dusk recently there was little of either, but I took my camera and returned with these photos that suggest a feeling of autumn. They made me reconsider how one’s answer to “what’s your hue“ is likely to change—just as the day, season and moon “change”—and how, in change, we look for and find a sense of continuity in nature and in ourselves.
